Punjab Police on Friday detained 24 year old software engineer Shubham Dubey, a resident of Faridabad, Haryana. He has been detained in connection with a series of bomb-threat emails sent to Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), targeting Golden Temple.

The warning was reportedly sent to the SGPC's internet team. It warned of a blast using RDX inside the Langar Hall. Even though, the exact time was not mentioned, the message had enough details to cause serious concern and prompt immediate action.
