Arab and Muslim states, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, have for the first time issued a joint call for Hamas to disarm and relinquish power in the Gaza Strip. It is as part of efforts to end the war in the territory.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday that Israel is determined to bring back all the hostages and is willing to end the war if Hamas agrees to Israel’s terms. He had told the same to the hostage families the previous night.
