Sonam Bajwa, a renowned name in Punjabi as well as Hindi film industry, was born on August 16, 1989, in Nainital, Uttarakhand, India. With her striking looks, versatile acting skills, and charismatic screen presence, she has become one of the most desired actresses in Pollywood.

Sonam's journey into the limelight began in 2012 when she participated in the Femina Miss India contest. Although she did not win, her participation opened doors to the entertainment industry. In 2013, she made her acting debut in the Punjabi film Best of Luck, starring alongside Gippy Grewal and Jazzy B. Her performance in the movie stunned the industry and audience, paving way for a promising career.

In 2014, Sonam starred in Punjab 1984 opposite Diljit Dosanjh. The film was a massive hit and earned her widespread recognition. In the same year, she made her Tamil film debut with Kappal, showcasing her versatility as an actress.

Over the next few years, Sonam delivered several successful films, including Sardaar Ji 2, Nikka Zaildar, Manje Bistre, Nikka Zaildar 2, Carry on Jatta 2, Guddiyan Patole, Ardab Mutiyaran.

Her role in Ardab Mutiyaran was particularly notable. She portrayed Babbu Bains, a woman who fights societal evils in her unique style. The film was successful and earned her the PTC Punjabi Film Award for Best Actress

Apart from films, Sonam has also made her mark on television. She appeared as a guest on various Punjabi talk shows and reality programs, where her charm won over audiences. She notably has hosted show 'Dil Diyan Gallan' on Pitaara TV, one of the Punjabi entertainment channels.

Over the years, Sonam Bajwa has become a crush of many. The list not only includes the fans, but many celebrities as well. In one of the interviews, G Khan (Punjabi Singer) even said to Sonam Bajwa that "I am a big admirer of yours."

Not only this, the glimpses of an interview with Gurnam Bhullar also caught much of the attention where he was seen flirting with her.

Moving ahead, she has also featured in the Coca-Cola commercial titled 'Half Time, Coke Time', further expanding her presence in the entertainment industry.

Upcoming Projects

Sonam's career continues to soar with several exciting projects lined up. In 2025, she is set to appear in a Bollywood movie Housefull 5 which is to release on June 6, 2025. Few days back, at the Housefull 5 trailer event, she turned the heads in sequin Gown.

Sonam is known for her down-to-earth personality. She actively engages with her followers on social media platforms, sharing glimpses of her personal life, behind-the-scenes moments, and professional updates.

Just few days back, she shared a picture on her social media, announced another film which will release on October 2, 2025. While writing the caption, She wrote -
