Tanvi: The Great, directed by Anupam Kher, tells the touching journey of 21-year-old Tanvi (Shubhangi Dutt), a young autistic woman determined to honor her late soldier father's dream (raising the Indian Flag at Siachen Glacier).

The film stands out for its warmth, subtlety, and emotional clarity, avoiding loud emotions and instead letting small gestures, silences, and sincere performances speak volumes. The story of the film focuses on the evolving bond between Tanvi and her Grandfather, Colonel Raina (Anupam Kher).

Mumbai Premiere

The Mumbai Premiere of the film was held on July 17, 2025 at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre. At the event, Real-life Tanvi, who is an inspiration for this ovie, attended the screening as a Guest of Honor.

While Kirron Kher made one of her first public appearances since her 2020 multiple myeloma diagnosis. She walked the red carpet with Anupam. Sikandar Kher, Annu Kapoor, Rumy Jafry were also seen at the event.

Delhi Premiere

The Delhi Premiere of the film was held on July 13, 2025 at PVR Plaza, Connaught Place. The event was attended by many celebrities. Alongside, the Chief Minister of Delhi, Rekha Gupta also attended the event.

After the screening was completed, she talked to the media persons and praised the concept of the film. She added-

"This theme is so successful in itself, so beautiful, that today, every child of the country, every child of the world, should watch the movie."

She further congratulated Anupam Kher and the team of "Tanvi The Great" for showcasing a special theme through the movie.
